I knitted this bad boy up last night while KJ and I watched Igby Goes Down. It's knitted with five different shades of mohair to create a depth of color. I finished it just in time to pack away with the California stuff.

POST THE FIRST: Or, how I justify to myself, my husband, and the world why I thought this might be a good idea

I want to set some very clear ground rules: this blog is a place for only a few types of posts.

- My travels, this summer and beyond;
- Reviews of things I read, see, or hear;
- An occasional rant;
- Whatever Kevin might deign blogable.

This is mostly because I can't figure out what's more insulting: an online journal or a mass email. I'll have to resort to one or the other over this summer (and beyond), and in many ways this is easier.
